Activate VPS on ZOMRO platform

The VPS is where we will install Meta Trade 4 and Lion Trader software, allowing you to trade day and night h24. It's a simple activation. Follow the steps below.

First, click on the link below to access Zomro.

Click on NEXT to continue with the purchase.

Now you need to enter the data for registration. You can register by entering your email and password or through your Google account. After entering the data, click on Registration.

Fill in the required data and then click on NEXT

Select the payment method you prefer, check the box related to Terms and Privacy as indicated by the black arrow on the left, and then click on NEXT.

Proceed and complete the payment in the chosen mode.

Once the payment is completed, you can access your VPS screen at any time. To access it, simply click on the icon on the left as indicated by the black arrow and scroll down to click on the dial. FOREX SERVER.

Your newly purchased VPS will appear here. First of all, check if both dots are green under the status item. If not, wait a moment because it means that the activation of your VPS is in progress. Normally it's almost instantaneous. When the status is active (both are green), you can access the VPS settings by clicking on the gear symbol as indicated by the black arrow to the right and then on INSTRUCTIONS.

Now that you have received confirmation from us that the software license is active, or you have received the Turbo Plus version software directly, let's proceed as per the slide to start Lion Trader.

First of all inside the vps and Meta Trade 4, let's open the charts of the currency pairs on which we want to activate Lion trader.

Important: If you have the Lion Trader Easy version, you can only activate two currency pairs EURUSD and USDCHF, while with the Lion Trader Turbo or Turbo Plus version you can open any currency pair.

HOW TO OPEN A CHART WINDOW

You just have to select the currency pair you prefer and click with the right button and then click on Graph window. You will see that inside Meta Trade 4 the chart of the currency pair you have chosen will open.

Both in the top left and at the bottom of the chart, you will see to which currency pair the chart refers.

When you open the charts, you can navigate by clicking on the tab as shown in the red arrow image. Each tab indicates the name of the currency pair of the chart and the corresponding active Time Frame (it is recommended to work on a M5 Time Frame).

Now that we have seen how to open and manage the charts, let's see how to install our software on the chart.

At this point, with the windows of the selected charts open, we just need to click on the currency pair tab on which we want to install the software, in this way we are inside that chosen chart. Now we can take the software and place it inside the selected currency pair. To do this, we must click with the mouse and then select the Lion trader version available under the Expert Advisors section and drag it into the chart. Alternatively, we can simply select the version and right-click with the mouse and click. Attach to the chart.

A window will open in the center of the chart. "Experienced advisors" and from here we can set the parameters as in the guide.

Before anything else, let's check if the voices are enabled in the Common section as shown in the image. The voices that should be checked are: Enable alerts, Allow real-time trading e Allow importing external Experts.

On the tab Input values We will set the settings as per the guide (explained in the last section of this guide).

Once the settings are entered, we just need to click on ok.

IMPORTANT: don't forget once you have set the settings and Time Frame of each chart to click on AUTO TRADING. Only in this way the software will be able to work autonomously. Also, once Auto Trading is activated, verify that the smiley face at the top right of the chart is smiling.

If you don't remember to activate the AUTO TRADING, don't worry because a message reminding you to do so will appear.

To modify the set parameters you have two options.

1 - Right-click inside the chart where you want to modify the parameters, then on Experienced advisors and then up Property.

2 - click directly on the little face in the top right corner.

Lion Trader is a fully automatic software. The only thing you will have to do is set the parameters or eventually modify them if you want.

As already shown previously it is inside the window Experienced advisors on the tab Input values that it is necessary to enter the settings.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DIFFERENT ENTRIES

Magic Number: Strategy identification number (use a different number on each EA). IMPORTANT: This must be different for each chart that is opened.

Equity stop DD in % (0 = Disabled): When the DD reaches the set % threshold, it closes all operations.

Graphic User Interface

Lion Trader has a very intuitive and fast graphical interface.

The first thing that is immediately identified is the currency pair attached to the chart.

Buy Close / Sell Close - allow the instant closure of open operations in buy or sell. The default set value of 100 indicates that all operations will be closed. For example, if we wanted to close only half of the operations, we would need to change the value from 100 to 50. In practice, it is the percentage ratio of operations to be closed.

Buy ON / Sell ON - If clicked (they turn red) it prevents the software from opening BUY or SELL operations, depending on which one is pressed or clearly both. The default indicated number 0 can be changed and indicates the maximum number of Buy or Sell operations that the software can open. For example, if we put 3 in correspondence with Buy On, the software can open a maximum of three Buy operations.

IF YOU ARE AN INEXPERIENCED TRADING USER: We recommend not to modify any value except those indicated below.

IF YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED TRADING USER: You will be able to set your best strategy, modifying any parameter given the high customization offered by Lion Trader.

SETTING UP ACCOUNTS WITH REDUCED CAPITAL 50 - 100 EUROS

The EA should be attached to EURUSD M5.

IMPORTANT: IF YOU WANT TO OPEN MORE CURRENCY PAIRS INSIDE THE SOFTWARE THEN YOU HAVE TO DIVIDE THE CAPITAL YOU HAVE AVAILABLE BY THE NUMBER OF CURRENCIES YOU WANT TO OPEN, OR ASSIGN A CAPITAL IN EACH CHART RELATED TO THE TOTAL YOU HAVE AVAILABLE.

EXAMPLE: suppose that you have deposited 1,000 euros in the Esperio account and therefore you have 100,000 euros available in Meta Trade 4. If for example you want to open two charts then in the calculator you have to indicate for the lot calculation 50,000 euros and not 100,000 euros (because we are using capital for better risk management). You can also divide the capital not necessarily equally, but assign a certain amount of capital to one chart and the remaining to the other currency pair (for example out of 100,000 euros, 80,000 on EURUSD and 20,000 on AUDCAD). Once entered in the calculator the capital you want to assign to that particular currency pair, the lots that will come as a value are those to be entered in the expert advisors field on the chart.

Step 1: Preparation

Before starting, it is essential to make sure you have an active trading balance on MetaTrader 4 (the amount in cents is the one to enter in the lot calculator).
Open the Metatrader 4 platform and open a chart for the EUR/USD exchange rate.
Set up the chart using a 5-minute time frame (Time Frame M5).

Step 2: Chart Configuration

Drag the Expert Advisor (EA) onto the first chart related to EUR/USD.

The Turbo Plus version has important features aimed at risk management.

Automatic management of DD - DrawDown

In the Turbo Plus version it is possible to automatically manage the DD.

In practice it is possible to establish a percentage of DD (the ratio between open operations for that currency compared to the total capital), which if reached automatically will switch the multiplier from 1.3 to 1.2 and increase by a certain percentage set by the user the grid step set.

Specifically as indicated in the image, unlike the other version, in the Plus we have two entries:

- Percentage increase grid in DD

- Percentage/dd activation

In the example of the image below, when the percentage of open trades relative to available capital reaches 3%, then the software will adjust the leverage to 1.2 instead of 1.3 and increase the grid step value by 25%, which in the image is set at 48.

Configurations for Settings Automation

On the other hand, a higher value for the Multiplier causes a faster closing of operations in progression, usually within 24 hours, thus avoiding swap charges. However, this configuration may entail a higher overall risk level compared to expected return. For prudent risk management, it is recommended not to use a Multiplier greater than x1.5. Higher values can significantly increase risk, jeopardizing capital safety and long-term returns. As with any trading parameter, it is essential to conduct thorough tests on different settings and monitor the performance of the Expert Advisor to identify the optimal value of the Multiplier that fits your trading strategy and financial goals.

Take Profit: Represents the level of profit in points that the Bot must reach before closing the entire series of operations. Statistically, the optimal value for Take Profit is 40 points, equivalent to 4 pips. However, it is essential to carefully consider the risk/reward ratio when selecting this value. A lower Take Profit reduces the risk and accelerates the closure of operations in case of price reversal, which is the main goal of the Bot. On the other hand, a higher Take Profit requires the price to cover a greater distance before generating the desired profit, increasing the potential gain but also the risk, as the price could retrace before closing the operation. It is recommended not to set a Take Profit higher than 50 points, as a value too high could entail disproportionate risk compared to expected return. It is essential to find a balance between the desired profit level and acceptable risk, considering market volatility and your own trading strategy. In summary, choosing the Take Profit is a critical decision that will influence the overall performance of the Bot. If you open multiple currency pairs, it is advisable not to let the software work on pairs that are somehow linked to each other. E.g. EURUSD - USDCHF.

WHAT IS DRAWDOWN?
